The go home show before survivor series was full of surprises and was such a great show. Something i wont go into great detail below was the ending ? am i the only one that thinks it was a strange way to finish a show. I was expecting Braun to emerge from the ring and roar his trademark Braaaauuuun.
The Good
Triple H The Game returned Monday night to take Jason Jordan's place on Team Raw at Survivor Series in a surprise twist we didn't see coming.I for one can't wait to see Triple H in action and add that he will be teaming with Kurt Angle at survivor series it brings me right back to my childhood.
Paul Heyman I said it before and i will continue to say it, Paul Heyman is money. Heyman always cuts a good promo and this week was no different. The best bit of this particular segment was when the crowd started chanting "she said yes". Live Tv can throw up many surprises, A man in the crowd had just proposed to his now fiancée and judging by the crowd she said yes. Heyman took this all in good nature and ran with it, Heyman addressed the situation with " she only said yes" because she has never been up close with a beast like Brock.
Samoa Joe Joe is such a good worker and we are all aware of this, but watching the tag match against The Club he was on another level skill wise. Finn got a hot tag to Joe and he single handedly turned the tie on its head and helped pick up the victory. His attitude before and after the match solidified how much of a heel he is. Pushing Balor before the bell rang which had me thinking this team is just going to implode any second. Similar to after the match Joe left ringside leaving Finn to Celebrate the victory alone.
The Bad Stephanie McMahon Same old, Same old authority storyline. How many years are we going to go down this road. The character she plays has gone stale, belittling superstars such as Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan in years gone by and now its continuing with Kurt Angle with no repercussion. If she got some sort of comeuppance then i don't think fans would hate on the storyline as much as they do. Back in the glory days if Vince acted similar to the way Stephanie is now he would have got a Stone Cold Stunner, a Rock bottom or a Tombstone. Have todays superstars gone soft ?
Jason Jordan Poor Jason Jordan just cant catch a break. Now he did beat Wyatt monday night but it was after the match were it went down hill for him. Wyatt attacked Jordan after the match and he injured his knee, this resulted in Triple H taking his place at Survivor Series. Triple H then went on to hit Jordan with a pedigree, this was an awesome segment at Jordans expense. The only downside to this promo was after Triple H hit the pedigree Angle just stood there, your son just got Pedigreed and your just going to stand there and do nothing.
As for the rest of the show...well, what do you think? and do you have any comments on the points i have raised? if so, let me know in the comments below.
