If you thought Raw was good the previous night, then i strongly advise you check Smackdown out as it was possibly one of the best Smackdown Live shows in quite some time. The show had everything from title defenses to excellent promos and was the perfect send off before Survivor Series this Sunday.

The Good

Retaliation The final segment made Smackdown jump from a good show to a great show in my eyes. We all knew Raw would be invading this past Tuesday night, but it was how it played out that made it so good. The Main event of the night featured The New Day vs Zayn and Owens had all the potential to be a great watch. Cue the middle of the match and the shields entrance music drops and the trio emerge from the crowd. Zayn and Owens duck out leaving it 3v3, The Usos rush the ring to assist The New Day but The Bar emerge from the crowd to even the score. Cameras then moved backstage where the Raw woman attacked the Smackdown woman in the locker room area laying waste to all the Smackdown ladies. Back to the action in the ring and its an absolute mess, Superstars everywhere. Then the game changer emerged, Braun Strowman laid waste to the entire Smackdown live roster. Leaving Shane on his own in the ring with The Shield to receive an absolute beatdown. Shane was victimized by The Shield receiving not one but two triple power-bombs along with an Angle Slam.

Charlotte Flair What a night for Charlotte Flair in her hometown, beating Natalya to become the Smackdown live Womans Champion. Natalya almost snatched it as she had Charlotte in the sharpshooter in the center of the ring for quite sometime before Charlotte eventually got to the ropes to break the hold. Charlotte then hit Nattie with a big boot and locked in the figure eight forcing the Champion to tap out. There was great scenes at the end, you could tell from the promo cut at the end by Flair that this meant a lot to her. Almost reducing her to tears, its always great when superstars show that kind of emotion. Referencing her dad Ric Flair and how he has had a hard time as of late. As she made her way to the entrance area, The nature boy's music hit and out walked Ric. This was such a nice moment for both as they embraced each other you could see how much it meant for both Flairs.

Daniel Bryan This was possible the best promo Bryan has ever cut in his career, in or out of the ring. If Paul Heyman knocked the ball out of the park last night, Daniel Bryan caught it and threw it back in. This ladies and gentlemen is exactly how you sell a main event. Bryan not only hyped his own champion to be the undisputed champion in the WWE. He also questioned Brock mentally and called him a quitter. This only wet my lips and i want more, Sunday can't come quick enough so we finally get this once in a lifetime match.

The Bad Generally i will try and find three good things and three bad things with both Raw and Smackdown. This weeks Smackdown edition was flawless and i couldn't find a single fault, which is a good thing i suppose.

As for the rest of the show...well, what do you think? and do you have any comments on the points i have raised? if so, let me know in the comments below.
